Hematospermia.com is an independent educational website. It explains blood in semen (hematospermia) in plain English: what causes it, when it needs checking, and what to expect from a doctor, using published medical sources.

Who runs this site

Hematospermia.com is published by its owner as an independent project. It is not affiliated with any hospital, medical society or government body. The sources we cite (for example the NHS, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, ACOG or NICE) do not endorse this site.

Authors and medical review

Pages are written by the Hematospermia.com editorial team using the published sources listed on each page. No clinician has reviewed this content yet. We label every medical page "Medical review pending" until a qualified, named clinician has reviewed it. When that happens, we will add their name, credentials and review date to the page. We will never display a reviewer who hasn't actually reviewed the page.

How we make money

We plan to earn money from clearly labeled affiliate links (for example at-home test kits and men's health telehealth services) and, later, display advertising. These never influence our medical guidance. See our affiliate disclosure.
